BLOG --- ITS BEEN A WHILE - Its now November and another year is nearly over!!
Yet again it's been a while and a hell of a lot has happened since we last spoke. I've toured the country twice with artist Amy Studt - played to a crowd of 30,000 at Hyde Park hangin out with Ben Harper n the Goo Goo Dolls. Manys good things, my original material has had to take a back seat recently unfortunately but Im pretty much free to work on it now until January. Im back doing a few pub gigs here and there and I cant explain how much fun it is just to let go again. I've recently ran into the most incredible bunch of musicians - a new extension to my musical family more like. Wonderful friends and all round crazy players. Check some of these guys out -
Andy Cortes (Guitarist / Singer) at the ridiculous age of 21 he has already played on stage with the likes of Buddy Guy and Chaka Chan. Without a doubt the best guitarist Ive had the pleasure of working with.
James Ahwai (bassist) son of soul heavyweight guitarist Robert Awhai, James is currently touring with soul legend Linda Lewis ( even got me up singin BV's !! hey hey!!)
Sam Van Essen (Drummer) - Funkiest guy in the country currently playin for rock master Robin Troyer.
Marc Le Guerrannic (Guitarist) The Daddy - what more can you say.
Jack Duxbury on Keys - wonderful and inspirational player!!
We all do a night with a few of the guys from King Biscuit and a load more of my friends every Thursday in a wonderful little pub in Guildford - The Robin Hood. AND What a night it's turned out to be!! We have great guests every week - horn sections / gospel singers the works. AHH I can honestly say I have never felt as inspired as I do right now..
Oh and I bought my dream guitar - my Lowden !!!!!!!!!!

I've recently left England seeking solice in Ireland for a while - A little January BLUES... Sorting out new dates - new ventures - reading, writing, painting, playing!! My own little Woodstock...
Off to the LOWDEN factory next week to sort out a new acoustic guitar!!!!!!!!!!
Things are looking good for the year to come. I begin gigging my own originals in March along with two King Biscuit UK tours and some very exciting ventures unfolding involving two of my very favourite performers of all time ---

RECORDING SESSIONS
Connor completed sessions with Stop!Thief! last week for their new EP to be released in January. Also Connor is currently recording with Louise Le Gry along side songwriter and producer Chris Sutton.
PAUL GEARY ON BASS WITH KING BISCUIT
Master bass player Paul Geary will be sitting in on Saturdays King Biscuit gig at The Globe in Brentford. Paul will also be covering all King Biscuit's dates in January and Febuary whilst Mark is off touring in Australia. Paul has only just returned from his recent world tour with George Michael.
NEW RECORDING
Connor will be recording on orginals band, STOP!THIEF!'s new EP and will also be continuing with their live work. NEW BAND - 'KING BISCUIT'
Connor has formed a permanent band with former Alice Cooper guitarist Pete Friesen. They have performed their first few gigs around London, all extremely well received. Connor and Pete have been working together for a while now in various other projects before deciding to form their own group. Other members are Adam Binnie - Vocals, Terry Swain - Drums and Mark Wallis - Bass. The band have started working on original material and will be enlisting the help of legendary Cream writer Pete Brown. Watch This Space...
